Good Faith Estimates

Understanding Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

At Growing Together, we believe in transparency and helping families plan confidently for their child’s care. Under the No Surprises Act, if you’re uninsured or choosing to pay out-of-pocket, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services will cost before your first appointment.

A Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected charges for the services you’re scheduled to receive. It’s not a bill—it’s a helpful tool to avoid unexpected costs. This estimate may include the cost(s) for:

  • The main service(s) you’re receiving

  • Any other related services likely needed during that visit or treatment period

If additional appointments (like evaluations or therapy sessions) are scheduled later on, you can request a separate Good Faith Estimate at any time.

You have the right to:

  • Receive your estimate in writing, in your preferred format (email, print, large print, etc.)

  • Ask for the estimate before you schedule care

  • Compare it to your actual bill and dispute charges that are $400+ over the estimate

We’re here to support you every step of the way. If you have questions or would like to request a Good Faith Estimate, please contact us directly.
